Navy SEAL Grit and Life After Service
Lieutenant Jason Redman
Retired Navy SEAL and New York Times bestselling author Jason Redman divulges how to triumph over adversity using proven Special Operations habits and mindsets in his new book “Overcome: Crush Adversity with the Leadership Techniques of America’s Toughest Warriors.”
Redman was horrifically wounded in Iraq in 2007 when he was shot at close range through the face and arm. After 40 surgeries, including extensive facial reconstruction and skin grafts, he came back from this experience stronger than ever — despite carrying scars and injuries he will have for the rest of his life. Redman went on to launch two successful companies and speaks all over the country.
His first book “The Trident: Forging and Reforging of a Navy SEAL Leader” tells the story of his military life and recovery. Both books are available from all major on line retailers.
Jason discusses lessons of ego/arrogance; humility, growth opportunities, and raising kids with host Jim Fausone.

Commander Rorke Denver
Commander Rorke T. Denver has run every phase of training for the U.S. Navy SEALs and led special-forces missions in the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and other international hot spots.
He starred in the hit film Act of Valor, which is based on true SEAL adventures. His New York Times bestseller, “Damn Few: Making the Modern SEAL Warrior”, takes you inside his personal story and the fascinating, demanding SEAL training program.
In his second book “Worth Dying For: A Navy SEALs Call to a Nation”, Rorke tackles the questions that have emerged about America’s past decade at war–from what makes a hero to why we fight and what it does to us.
Rorke is the founder of Ever Onward, a fresh, new brand designed to use Navy SEAL principles to call leaders to take action, to suffer, and to be bold so they can perform at their highest levels.
He gives Veterans Radio an insight to his thoughts on leadership, military service, and coffee consumption in this interview with host Jim Fausone.
