Aldez North America is a certified Veteran-owned business. Aldez is a manufacturer of heavy duty packaging materials in the United States with its head office in Almont, Michigan. Besides its head office, Aldez Containers has plants in the states of Texas, Ohio, Alabama, Indiana and Kentucky within the United States. It manufactures and sells packaging materials—such as heavy duty corrugated packaging—mainly to manufacturers of automobile components.
Our guest is Jeffrey Copek, President of Aldez North America. After a 15-year career in the United States Army including six combat tours to Afghanistan and Iraq, Jeffrey was medically retired and joined Aldez. He brings to Aldez extensive strategic planning, purchasing, and operations management skills.

Why Did Truman Drop the A-Bomb on Japan?
August 6th, 2020 marks 75 years since a B-29 bomber dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima on Aug. 6, 1945.
Why? To obtain unconditional surrender from Imperial Japan and end World War II.
Dr. Grant fills in the details that led to President Truman’s decision. Here’s the article she wrote for Fox.
Dr. Rebecca Grant is a national security analyst based in Washington, DC. She earned her PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics at age 25 then worked for RAND and on the staff of the Secretary of the Air Force and Chief of Staff of the Air Force.
Dr. Grant has written over 100 articles for Air Force Magazine and appears regularly on the Smithsonian Channel, Fox News, CNN, Veterans Radio and other media outlets talking about airpower and national security. She has flown with the United States Air Force in the T-38, E-3 AWACS, B-52, F-16 Aggressors, F-15 in Exercise Cope North and in the B-2 Spirit bomber.
