Veteran Benefits and VA administration - August 2017
What’s Right or Wrong with the Veterans Administration?
Listen to Veterans Radio this Sunday, 27 August 2017, as we start an ongoing look at the Department of Veterans Affairs. We’re not out to do an expose. We just want the VA to be able to provide the best care possible.
This week we are going to be looking at some of the more recent changes at the VA with our guests Kristina Derros, Partner at Legal Help for Veterans and Michael Smith, Director of the Washtenaw County (Michigan) Department of Veterans Affairs.
And Dr. Michael Mann, Professor of Surgery and Director of the Cardiothoracic Translational Research Lab at the University of California, San Francisco, is revealing deep systemic VA failures that have resulted in loss of life in his new book, Mission Betrayed.
Upholding the Promise
The VA is the backbone of the promised medical care for America’s veterans.
- Do you know what benefits you have earned and are entitled to?
- What do you think should be done to make the VA more efficient and more responsive to veterans?
- What has been your experience with VA? Good or bad? Let us know what happened to you?
