Captain John C. (“Jack”) Ensch. Join host Gary Lillie and guest John Ensch, a back-seater who flew 285 missions over North Vietnam in an F-4 Phantom. On 23 May 1972 his F-4 shot down two MiG-17 fighters on the same mission! Unfortunately, a few months later, on 25 August 1972 Captain Ensch was himself shot down by a SAM (surface-to-air-missile).
